Security Policies

Janalli uses a secure, third-party site from ANZ to process your credit cards details.

For payment of a deposit, you will be redirected to this secure site. Upon payment, you are redirected back to Janalli. Janalli does not see your credit card number - only ANZ does. Your deposit is forwarded to our bank account. Where necessary, we are able to process refunds. Your credit card number is not transmitted or stored by Janalli.

Upon redirection, you should confirm the ANZ site is recognised as a secure site by your browser. Details vary, but generally expect to see a green light or locked padlock.

Privacy Policies

The information you enter (such as your name and email) are used to contact you regarding the booking. This information is stored in a Janalli database. We may use your email address to contact you with Janalli events, specials and the like. Emails will always have an unsubcribe link.

Your personal information will not be sold or given to any third party.

Please inform us if you don't want to receive emails, or if you'd like us to delete your details on departure.

Booking Policies

Pets

We are not able to accommodate pets but can recommend local kennels and catteries.

Children

Janalli is not suitable for children under 16.

Smoking

All of Janalli’s rooms are non-smoking.  Guests are asked to consider others when smoking on the verandah or in the garden.

Allergies

Please inform us when booking if you have any special dietary requirements

Payment & Deposit for individual bookings

 We charge an advance deposit of $50 for each night booked at the time of booking. The balance is charged upon departure.  This charge will be applied to your credit card.

Payment & Depsoit for non-room charges such as special events and weddings

We charge a 45% deposit for all non-room charges. We reserve the right to cancel the arrangements in the event of non-payment.

Five days prior to the event we require payment of the full balance.

Cancellations for individual bookings

Deposits will be refunded for cancellations received not less than 10 days prior to the date of arrival minus a $10 administrative charge.

We reserve the right to charge the full amount of the original booking for cancellations received within 3 full days of the anticipated date of arrival.

We will, however, make every effort to re-book the room for the period in question and, if successful, we will return the room charges for the nights that were booked minus the deposit, and any additional costs incurred for special purchases.

The above policies also apply in principle to reservations made using any Gift Certificate.

Cancellations for block bookings 

To protect the integrity of our small business, we apply a more stringent cancellation policy for bookings of multiple rooms.

Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to the date of your arrival will result in the forfeiture of all deposits and all non-room payments. Cancellations received within 14 full days of the anticipated date of arrival will result in forfeiture of all payments.

We will, however, make every effort to re-book the rooms for the period in question and, if successful, we will refund 80% of the monies received for each room booked.

Cancellation for weddings and special events

We reserve the right at our discretion to retain all pre-paid deposit monies in the event of any cancellation received within 21 days of the anticipated event date.

No show

If you have not contacted us and fail to check-in by 9pm on the day of your reservation the booking will be deemed a no-show. The room will be offered for immediate re-booking at that time. In the event of a no-show, the outstanding balance (incl. all taxes) for the whole length of stay as booked will be charged in full to the credit card on file. We will then seek to re-book the room for any additional nights of the original reservation. If successful, the pro-rated balance minus the original deposits and a $50 administrative charge will be credited back to the card.

Check-out and check-in

Check-out is 11am. Late check-out can be arranged in advance.

Our regular check-in times are between 2pm and 6pm. Should you be delayed or plan on arriving outside of these hours please call us to make arrangements for a late check-in.
